Need new Acme prop, recommendation?

I have a 1989 Ski Nautique 351W. I currently have (had, we found some rocks) an Acme 2068 that was installed by the previous owner for max speed (I could almost get it to 50mph).

Can you recommend a prop for best performance at 15-25mph? We trick ski and wakeboard, not much slalom speed needed.

I’ve seen 422 and 1868 recommended. There are so many variables I don’t know how to choose. My understanding is this boat is the first year with the 1:1.23 trans, and so uses different props than other 2001s.

Anyone have a favorite?

654 is a good choice as it’s a “tweeter” in between the 422 and 1868. 

4 vs 3 blade is always a fun discussion.  That being said...how many LARGE wake boats are sold with a 3-blade prop as stock configuration?  Go with the 4-blade.  If you really want low-end grunt and slower speed performance, consider the 1868.  Just watch the tach as you can over-rev by several hundred RPMs with a good engine and the 1868 (voice of experience).  Hole shot will be very strong...

My '89 had the 240hp 351w.  I tried the 422 and as mentioned it was too much prop.  I went back to the OJ that came with it.  Don't remember exactly what it was but it worked better.
