I personally have not used them but I was told they do a good job. My Florida neighbor sent them one on my recommendation and was very happy with everything.

Mike...Check with Woody. He's local to you and a CC legend. Give him a holla. I got his # if you need it. He is going in for surgery on the 17th so those of you who know him send up some prayers and keep him in your thoughts. He may be confined to the house and not able to go back to work but might be able to do it and make a few bucks in the process. He's planning on being at the SJRR.

Thanks Tim, he was definitely first on my list to contact. Being that's he's heading into surgery, I wouldn't want to be a bother during his recovery. Prayers sent his way!!! I sent out the carbs to Hobbs Carburetor Shop in New Hampshire and should have them back next week. I'll let everyone know how things turn out. Getting ready for the Ruckus! Thanks again.

Thanks for the offer, I appreciate it but ended up sending them away since my eyes are acting up when trying to deal with all those small parts.

Hobbs carburetor is near me in NH.
I've sent several carbs to them in various states of disrepair and they have all come back in excellent shape.
Nice guys to work with and very straight forward.
Good luck!

I strongly recommend Hobb's Carburetor Shop in New Hampshire for carb rebuilds. I sent my Holley on a Friday and it was done and on its way back to me on the following Tuesday. Very fast and extremely reasonable prices compared to many of my local shops. Carb looks great and performs even better! Thanks for the advise for this great shop!

Pretty engine!    Is that an air filter or flame arrestor on there?

I'll guess it's a mid 70's PCM flame arrestor with the top painted to match the engine and he probably added the overflow line as a result of replacing the original AC dual diaphragm pump with a Carter pump with the leakoff connection. (or ran a leakoff line from the original pump that had a glass sight bowl)

One of many pictures you can find on CCF
