Flightpipe Wakeboard Brackets

Hey guys, I purchase a flightpipe with the brackets that attach to the pylon and the flightpipe pole makes contact with my ring finger. I tried offset the pole from the pylon but then the brackets makes contact with the motor box vinyl due to the extra foam I installed on the motor box when I replaced the vinyl.. Soo I figured I could have new brackets made that are 2" longer to give me the clearance I need. I met with 2 machine shops and they wanted anywhere from $250-$350 for two new brackets. So what should I do? Any other options? I am not sure if the pylon bracket in the CCF store will work. Thanks and happy boating!
