Nothing by E L James...

I am looking to get some light reading for the evenings until my parts arrive and I need to improve my non existing knowledge of the 351 so was looking for some reading material.

Found this one that looks reasonable
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Rebuild-Small-Block-Ford-Engines-HP89/dp/0912656891/ref=sr_1_1?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1345805553&sr=1-1

or this one:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/How-Rebuild-Small-Block-Ford-Design/dp/1932494898/ref=sr_1_2?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1345805553&sr=1-2

Anyone got any other recommendations for a novice that can read and hold a spanner?

I am not looking to rebuild my engine just yet but it would be nice to understand what you guys are talking about in some of the posts on here.

I have been thinking the same thing. And maybe a resource to understand the subtleties of tuning of a carbureted gas V-8.
