I have a 68 Mustang with a 289 Ford Interceptor engine. The alternator is the original interceptor alternator with an external voltage regulator.
Can I use replace this old (not working) alternator for a new one with internal voltage regulator? Thanks, Trevor |

Yes but you may also want to consider taking the old one to a alternator (auto electric) shop.
