I have been meaning to try it in the Mustang, just have not got around to it.
I would not use any ballast, just set one person on the rider's side.

You don't think you would have to use ballast? That would be cool.

I really don't know. One person tips the boat a lot. I am not saying it would be a great wave, or even a good wave, I am just saying that I think I can ride it.
Big board, teeny sweet spot.   More of a novelty than something I would do frequently.

Maybe I will try it tonight.

red neck ballast!! no offence lol!!!
Put it like this the more ballast (within concious safety limits!!) you put the bigger the wake!!! with no ballast the pull is not hard thus letting go the rope will be hard.. if you get to go ropeless not to many tricks....a big old board makes it easier

Yeah, that is idiotic. At least most of our ballast is neutral if submerged. And prior to that, I have really fast pumps.

I'm not surprised with rocks as ballast. It's what I would expect of a Mastercraft owner!!!

So, who needs rocks or bags full of water.

Kapla's is fully adjustable and maybe renewable.

Hey, The rock pic, isn't mine, someone posted it along time ago.
I just thought it was fitting.

What's idiotic is someone weighting down a vintage Ski Nautique.
The next thing is, it won't run from sucking water in the gas vent

mine used to take water into the gas tank trough the gas vent when fully weighted...I had to move the vent..put it in the center plate in the transom that sits higher than the original position...
