Yep a good start for some too.. could be a diamond in the rough if no cracked block/trashed tranny.
Good clean and just run for a few years if the floor not too soft.

Just the trailer is worth $500.  Looks like a nice find.

It does look in great shape but, I did wonder about the low price until I got down to this:

"Donor states*, the engine does not run/function, might be seized"

One point to consider. This boat was given to a charity, as Pete points out the engine may be seized. Although it looks to be in fair condition who knows what it’s really worth?

5k is a deal even with a shot motor. Drop in a new one and you’re still ahead I would imagine.

New Engine with Zero Off  and drive by wire would be a nice upgrade for sure.

I suspect the trailer is worth zero based on my history buying Maryland salt water boats - and the engine/wiring will yield about nothing in terms of parts. Still under 5k and I wouldn’t kick it out of the barn - suspect it’ll do better than that though

Yeah, that galvanized trailer isn't a big selling point I'd imagine. I'd say 5-6k, maybe a touch more. Could easily be parted out for likely more, not including the core on the engine, if in fact it's bad.

If it’s galvanized the trailer it will at least make it home and have yard trailer value - from what I can see on my phone I was assuming it’s painted grey to Match the stripe. In that case of the two boats I have bought from MD with painted trailers 1 did make it home - but both trailers were cut up for scrap.

Actually galvanized trailers are the way to go if your buying new and have the option, they don't ever need painting nor do they ever get chipped or scratched just walking on them. I ordered one when we bought a sail boat 40+ years ago and still is in great shape. The one in the ad could be still very serviceable. I'm just afraid that this boat will go for crazy money due to the covid upcharge with someone thinking of flipping

Good points on galvanized IF it's in good shape. And yeah it's a total flip if bought right. If I get it, that's what I will do, as I need an OB in my future. Ultra...

Trailer has some rust holes in the rear support back by the prop, engine covers ripped, not sure what happened to the trunk lid as it seems to be missing.
The good news should have a heater because it has the defrost vent in front of the dash and it has has a new trailer jack thats a bonus LOL

Well, that SN went for 7K Plus the 300 bucks Plus whatever you Gotta do to the trailer to get it home. I'm guessing it's gonna be an easy fix on that motor! If so they did really well. And if not they still have plenty of room.

Nice buy. Lots of upside. Repower with Zero Off would be the bomb.

That's Race Bannon's old boat.  Pretty sure it was a reverse rotation RHIB.
