My simple minded answer Wink

It didn't magically all happen in one model year.

Ill take a stab at the question.
wood stringers went away in 1993.
Other wood such as interior substraight and such sometime 1995 or 1996.
1997 i think the claim was only wood in the boat was the backing blocks under the lift rings and the platform..
Hobby Boats can be expensive when the hobbyist is limited on their own skill and expertise.

If you're talking about a fiberglass hull, then I'm thinking it all probably started in 1961 with the addition on the Ski Nautique. Walt Meloon didn't want anything to do with the "Plastic" Ski Nautique boat because there was No such thing as a Plastic Tree. Leo Benz persistence and pleading with CC to make the SN finally won out. The trend was going to fiberglass boats anyway, so they agreed to build them. At least that's what I understand.

Still kind of a "not very well spelled out question".

Do you mean when did they make their first fiberglass boat (with wooden stringers) or maybe something else like when did their whole lineup go to fiberglass hulls (with wooden stringers)

Or something else?

I'm talking about full wood boat not just stringers.

Correct Craft went to all Composite in 1993. Jim doesn't have to worry about a Stringer job.Wink
