Buddy of mine has a 90' Ski Nautique, what should be included in a complete tune-up?
Cap Rotar Plugs Points Change Fluids - Trans + Crankcase-Filter Water seperation filter (would a 90' have this?) Fuel Filter Am I forgeting anything? What should he expect to be charged for a tune-up including the above from a CC dealer? Cost for shaft alignment? |

![]() But seriously most of that stuff is basic so it shouldn't be too bad, also stuff that can be done by nearly anybody. Side note.... The fuel filter and water seperator is one unit: White Lake.
He may or may not need an impeller, belts and plug wires. If he's getting water in the bilge, he may also consider replacing the packing on the shaft and rudder. If he's replacing the points, the money might be better spend on an EI upgrade ($100-150). No idea on the cost of labor, but the parts arent expensive. Id get everything from White Lake, with the exception of the fluids and plugs. |
