Not sure if you are still looking for carpet or not. Below is a link to my rebuild on an 86 silver nautique, starting on page 4 where I get to carpet, more info on page 5 as well.

I bought 25' of 8'-6" wide Midnight Star 24 oz carpet from PontoonStuff on line. https://www.pontoonstuff.com/products/24oz-pontoon-boat-carpet?_pos=3&_fid=b2438806d&_ss=c" rel="nofollow - https://www.pontoonstuff.com/products/24oz-pontoon-boat-carpet?_pos=3&_fid=b2438806d&_ss=c
25' was more than enough to do my boat. it had a rubber backing that was mediocre. The rubber backing was there, it had some less than perfect areas and tended to shed a touch if rubbed hard. Not enough to worry me and it definitely stuck to the fiberglass deck well with the Henry glue product I used. I don't know much about boat carpeting so maybe it's all like this. It's been down August 2024 and it seems great so far but this summer will be its first ski season.
Note that the 8'-6" wide roll allowed me to carpet my boat with no seam at the bottom to side transition. Took a bit of patience but the end result looks great. I ended up with one fold on each side up under the dash. Notes on it are in my post.
