Are you looking for used, rebuilt or new?

Rebuilt can be found at most car part stores. One example is a Cardone 30-2891. It's a distributor for a 94 F-150 with a 351w with a cast iron gear on it.

You can find lots of new Chinese made units for a 94 F-150 with a 351w at cheap prices. Numerous people around here have used them with good results.  An example of this would be a Spectra FD-14 You need to get one with a cast iron gear not a steel gear

The distributor bodies are the same on the marine and automotive units. The caps on the original gt40 distributors were not vented, The caps these days have a vent on the top  and the "marine cap" has the vent filled with RTV so that it's not vented any more. Numerous people have filled their vent or if their old cap was unvented and in good shape reused that on their new distributor

NAPA has the rebuilt  and new distributors.

You can also find a brand new distributor from PCM or one of the Chinese ones at nautiqueparts or SkiDim

Just remember.......you want a cast iron gear, not a steel gear with whatever route you take. Wink

Ignition modules.......that'll be another reply later

Here's a recent thread in the link with some info

You'll find a huge range of prices from 60 ish buck up to 585 bucks before any discounts, shipping charges etc so that's your choice depending on what your wallet thinks
