351 commander, about 760 hrs.

on cold start i'm getting a bit of white smoke for about 30 seconds. it goes away and then won't return until a restart the next day after it's been sitting for hours. it seems to smell like fuel when smoking.

engine seems to run great. it has the original 13x13 3 blade prop and it will turn 4,500RPM at 44-45 mph. i've ran it about 21hrs this season and it hasn't used any oil.

what would you make of this?

thanks gents,

yesterday, i turned my air mixture screws a half turn leaner and today i did not get any smoke on startup. hopefully that fixed it.... i'll see the next couple of times out... she sure runs like a raped ape though. i can't imagine having an upgraded cam and some gt40p heads on her...
