Probably worth mentioning, for anybody saying something like "my ECM, breakers and relays aren't mounted like that" that your pictures are of a gt40 in a Hydrodyne

Thanks for the intel Keno. I appears that once I can move the ECU mount out of the way I'll have reasonable access. How much slack in the harness will determine how much room I have to work with. Here are the pics of my ECU install...

Whatever solenoid you buy, (PCM's original part number is R130001), you should
Take pictures of the cleverly hidden wiring mess before you start Make a drawing telling you what wires came from which terminals, since the picture may not be the easiest thing to show what goes where with the clutter around the solenoid. And........don't put much faith in the incomplete generic NautiqueParts picture above With a gt40 you have a few more wires than the picture shows and it can be really confusing Here's a link to an old thread about the wiring and in that thread, (second post from the end), is a link to a PCM manual showing the wiring to the solenoid page MT16 of the manual It's not much fun at all changing that solenoid

Anyone have the part number to the starter solenoid up at the ECU? I don't have access to the GT40 manual at the moment. My is buried… looks like it'll be fun to replace;-)
