Looking to sell my 1986 Ski Nautique 2001. I have owned this boat since 2011 and it is my pride and joy.
When I bought it, it was in fantastic shape. The interior was completely redone with new vinyl and carpet and truly looks brand new. Since I have owned it, all winterization has been done professionally with transmission fluid changes occurring every other season. I have replaced the stereo with one that has bluetooth capability and also replaced the 4 speakers and added a small subwoofer. I have also replaced the dash plate with a new one and fresh graphics and have had the speedometers rebuilt. It has a depth finder. The trailer is the weak point. It''''''''s certainly not bad but one of the fenders has seen better days. I have converted the trailer to full LED lighting and summer 2016 it got two new tires and new spring bushings. I am replacing the steering cable in the next few weeks as well.
This boat is about as close to perfection as one can get, but it does have a small oil leak. It''''''''s small enough not to require any oil over the summer season, but it''''''''s there. Transmission works very well with no slipping noted and it pulls hard with the ACME 540 prop.
So, why am I selling a boat that is my "pride and joy" and is in such great shape? Simply put, I want something more modern. Modern trailer, modern powertrain (fuel injection), modern design, and an open bow. If my financial position allowed, I would keep it and just add to my fleet, but sadly that is not the case.
Feel free to email me any questions or for more pictures. It''''''''s in storage right now, but I can easily accommodate anyone that wants to see it or requests more pictures.
