1955 Correct Craft Hurricane, 1 of 1 remaining as far as I know. Full restoration from the keel up, fully documented on correctcraftfan.com. Every exterior plank on this boat is new, bottom, sides and deck have all been replaced using the Danenberg 5200 system. The boat is solid as a rock and runs high and dry.
Power is a 1955 331 Chrysler Hemi, professionally rebuilt by Van Ness engineering, a premier vintage engine rebuilder to the wood boat hobby. 10:1 compression ratio, custom grind cam and forged pistons with an estimated 275 HP.
Boat has been featured in Classic Boating magazine and was the cover photo for Classic boating's 2019 Calendar.
Trailer was rebuilt when the boat was completed, sandblasted, powdercoated, new tires, brakes, wheel bearings and wiring.
Selling because I have 2 more project boats lined up and I just don't find the time to use this one.
