1975 Correct Craft Mustang 17 inboard ski boat and trailer

302 Ford w 351 heads, 4 bbl (original) - 215 hp - 1047 hours

1:1 Velvet Drive transmission

Boat has only ever been in fresh water.

Solid, all-original survivor. Original emblems, stickers and hand painted hull logo, just as it arrived from the factory. The seats and engine cover upholstery have been repaired in some areas, but kept original, with the exception of the lower seating surface on the rear seat, which was recovered in a closely matching material, as was the upper (front) seating surface of the driver's seat back. Everything else (aside from maintenance items - belts, hoses, filters etc.) is original, including the original mirror which has been stripped and needs to be re-chromed. The rub rail is very straight and clean, with only minor scrapes and scuffs.

2 covers included - original canvas cover and aftermarket water-proof cover.

Always kept in dry storage. Has been covered and stored in the barn, undisturbed for 13+ years. Just took it out last spring, had the carpet removed, floors re-epoxied and new marine carpet installed, stuffing box was just re-packed (prop shaft seal), new plugs, belts and hoses, changed oil/filter, added gas and she sparked right up. Requires leaded fuel - case of fuel additive included. Never intended to sell, but our plans have changed.

Key note: The floor and stringers in this boat have never been compromised, never experienced any exposure or subsequent "rot".
