After selling our 1995 GT-40 due to a divorce, I needed to get back on the water with my daughters who loved it. (Priceless quality time!) However, I was on a budget!! This 92 was listed on Craigslist, "Needs engine repairs"...I went to inspect, good shape, recent interior, newer tandem trailer, BLOWN Headgaskets, one head already removed! Owner did not have the funds to repair, and hated to sell, but had no choice. We made a deal, I did my research, and decided a total engine rebuild was most practical. Thanks to this site's advice and guidence, pulled the motor and got it to a shop. Hans Motor house in Orlando did the honors, tweaked just a tad, and got us back on the water for the end of the summer. Initial issues, coil pack conversion, carb challenges, and even a new coil issue, all solved with help from this site. Despite my daughters are now teenagers, they still love to be on the lake with Dad! We are enjoying life!
