Bought my boat off Craigs list on a early March morning in Minnesota. One degree outside at the time of purchase. Was told it ran well two years ago in Arizona. Left in care of sellers ex-wife cover disintegrated, stereo stolen, most wires under the dash were cut, baked in Arizona sun, no battery. After seeing that all the seams failed on the old upholstery I came up with my own design eliminating half the seams in the boat. I raised the drivers seat about 5" providing storage underneath. Found water in the oil so we swapped the engine for one from an 88 Martinique with 460 hours. Did the swap in the driveway with my son, used the original tranny and carb. Was surprisingly easy. Runs Great. Took apart the old motor for educational purposes and sold the good parts. The swap wound up costing about 400$ net.
