Reunions : 2008 CorrectCraftFan.com Northeast Reunion

Thank you to those who joined us recently in Green Lake, WI and helped make it a huge success. Our next gathering is just around the corner... This year's Northeast Reunion will take place September 12-14 in beautiful Lake George, NY, situated in the heart of the Adirondack mountains. With the support of Adirondack Marine, a Correct Craft dealer for over 24 years, we have a phenomenal event planned.

If you haven't heard, Ken Meloon, Chairman of the Board, Correct Craft, Inc. made a surprise appearance at the Midwest Reunion. After speaking with attendees and doing some trick skiing behind a member's boat, he had this to say about the event; "I have been to many Correct Craft owner reunions over the years in Ohio, Texas and Florida at various theme parks, but the Green Lake, Wisconsin reunion was extra special in that we were able to spend time together on the water enjoying our Correct Craft boats. It was like a walk down memory lane for me in that I saw Correct Crafts from the early 60's to present day. I hope to be able to attend again next year and plan to bring my 1975 CC Mustang to share in the fun." Ken is doing his best to join us in Lake George as well.

The Marine Village Resort

A highlight of this year's Northeast event will be the unveiling of the 2009 CorrectCraftFan.com Special Edition 196. This boat, which has been specially built for the site to commemorate the history and innovation of Correct Craft, is equipped with a PCM Catanium 409 and will be on site for all to drive and ski behind. We couldn't be more excited to bring you this one-of-a-kind opportunity!

We'll kick things off Friday afternoon/evening with an on-land boat show and BBQ, co-sponsored by Adirondack Marine and Adirondack Pub & Brewery, at the Marine Village Resort. The resort, located right on the water in Lake George Village, is holding 35 rooms for us at a special discounted Reunion rate (from $99 to $129, with a lake view, per night). They have ample room for parking trailers in their lot and space for up to six boats at any one time on their docks. Be sure to arrive by 7pm for the unveiling of the 2009 CCF 196 and for our annual group photo.

Then, meet us early Saturday morning for a ski, foot or ride behind the boats of fellow members as well as 2008 Correct Craft demo boats, courtesy of Adirondack Marine. We'll provide equipment demos of HO water skis and Liquid Force wakeboards during the day and we're working on a wakeboard or slalom clinic. Later, we'll anchor in Log Bay to enjoy being on the water with new and familiar friends.

Saturday night's dinner and banquet will be held in the banquet facility at Adirondack Pub & Brewery, where we'll award trophies to peer-rated favorite boats, engines and more. On Sunday, we'll return to the water to experience everything the area has to offer and bid a fond farewell to the season. Throughout the weekend, you'll have a chance to win various giveaways and raffle prizes.

Join us on Lake George this September, during what the locals call, "the best time of the year". There's something for everyone with many shops, restaurants and historical sites in the area. Beyond the discounted rooms at the Marine Village Resort, there are dozens of other lodging options including several area campgrounds. Bring your Correct Craft, family and friends and extend your summer a bit. The schedule of events appears below.
