So I began wet sanding hull with 600. Sanding off tired graphics so I can redo them.
I see the "ghosted" outline of the graphics, which means I'll redo them in the correct 1981 style. (was preferring to do in '79 style)
But I doubt I'll be able to see the original outline well enough to 'guide' the placement of the new paint mask.
I can always take measurements before removing the old stuff.
Anyone have a better method for getting the new graphics back in the correct place?

Check the reference section, believe there is a graphic image for the 81' that Alan did.
From that if you had a Gerber mask made should make the process much easier.
There was a great thread from many years ago, guy did a phenomenal job on his 77', want to say name was Jeff Toro or something like that, he is in update NY IIRC. Check that out for an idea on the process.

SE correct craft use to use easy off oven cleaner to remove graphics.

And if memory serves, it was Rustoleum paint...
