After 9 years of using my Nautique only a hand full of times and a full 5-6 yr dry storage, i moved back to where i call home - Upstate SC. Got the boat running after a rather lengthy process of compounding and polishing for the 1st time in my 20yr ownership, new steering cable, water pump, and unfortunately a carburetor - thanks to all the suggestions for those who responded to my cry for help with carb issues. Took the boat to Lake Jocassee in Salem, SC and without hesitation had the best time in a LONG time with a couple of old friends. The boat ran flawlessly and couldn't be happier. Here's a few pics from the trip.

You just proved a point, if you prepare a boat properly you will have flawless outings like you just did.
Glad you got it out and had some fun. The boat still looks new!   Those hulls have timeless lines, they always look good.
