Hi Ya'll,
I was watching this video today. It has a very cool looking, very small wooden ski boat.
Thought I share it. Anyone have any idea what it might be?
The boat is first shown at 1min 30sec.

No idea on the boat, but the fellas likely got their swim suits from your bro and their ropes from Larry

I'm thinking it's a Dart. Sadly, my Bob Speltz books are up north so I can't look it up.

That's good stuff! Oh the double handled ropes. We fought each other for the double handles while skiing doubles! We also wore the white d*ck pope ski belt to look ultra cool.

Yup. Says right in the text the boat was unveiled to the press at that location and the ski club in the video was one of the fist customers.
Look at the photos you'll see the rudder extends out past the transom, cool design.

Anyone see that evil meat-cleaver fin on the blonde's ski?

DAVID, That was interesting for sure. That is a 12'-9" Albatross Sport Runabout MK I,II,III. (Check out the web page at Albatross Marine Co.UK) That boat has a wild history and story and is still going strong today. Very cool, also it was powered by a Ford E-100. Hey, thanks for the post it was a joy doing the research. They were built between 1949-1966 and have a following like our own Correct Craft fan. group.
