Is there a specific reason you want the BF with the 454?

Yes, I had one that died and sold the boat and would like another one due to the throaty sound and awesome torque.

Every inboard that I know of ether a DD or VD without mufflers has that throaty sound. Torque in my opinion can be really improve with todays modern CNC props. Have you ever had the opportunity to drive a regular SN?

Does anybody know if BuffaloBFN ever sold the pumpkin patch. That's still a very sweet BFN.

Hey Eddie,

No, I didn't sell her. I had a deal semi-worked out with another fan, but he backed out. Since then, Amy and I have sorted our differences, and the bfn got a new cover for Christmas.

She's so close to being perfect, I can't imagine living here without her. Upholstery, a real intake and doghouse lift, and a few gel fixes and she'll be close.

Every time I rip around the peninsula, I get big smiles from the neighbors the next day. My ego would surely perish without that little boost.

If yall look past the cut-out rung in my tower(currently not on the boat) and a few other things....

I've ridden in boats where the center window falls through in rough water. If mine had a center window, it wouldn't flinch. That's tough to find short of hammering one's wallet on the newer boats.

Thanks guys

Great news Greg!

It's not in the Diaries but at one point BJ was willing to let this go for the right price. Not a 454 but I think you'd find it easier to find or build an engine for the right boat than the other way around.

Does anyone know the owner of this BFN? I took a friend to look at in Louisville in 04/13 and it wasn't what he was looking for. He wanted a brand new old boat so he passed. It was really quite nice and complete. I wonder if it was sold. If not it was a complete and original BBC powered boat.

BTW it had these so someone must have cared about their speed

HW is correct. I was just in that boat 5 minutes ago. It's a really pretty really original example. One of the guys up on the river in OH purchased it first then sold it to BK here at N3. Runs good too. GPSd like 51.3 if I remember from summer.

While I'm thinking of it I found this listing lastnight, older one somehow I missed. I was really impressed with how clean the pictures show. BFN's aren't my thing but I like this one.

Weird colors, but I think it may have been a water show boat.

I really like that '88 in Orlando. The '85and '87 have been for sale for quite some time. The '87 in Michigan is about 20 miles from me. I can't remember who, but someone looked at it last year and was not impressed. Let me know if you want me to check it out. A water test might be difficult (7 degrees currently).

Thanks guys; we worked things out some time back, and, goodness I've been busy.

I like the prices I see on BFN's, and I know what's under the carpet in the Orlando boat. That guy might read the 'patch' sometime?

I wonder if that guy would rent the '87 for the SJRR. Or I could just tell him I'm water testing it for the weekend.

BuffaloBFN, I'm a CCF member but don't frequent the site much. I noticed today, while sharing another thread that this thread is talking about my boat. I've had this boat for a long time and I've taken very good care of it. I also want to be as transparent as possible to potential buyers. You mentioned "the Patch", is that a specific thread?

Thanks, Mark
