On my 1998 Nautique can you mount a depth finder? The boat never came with one.

if you got to planetnautique theres mucho bad raves about the hummingbird..i guess they are junk from what several people has said who has or had them...i was told to buy a faria instead..just my .2

the issue most of them have is their choice of mounting location and method of mounting. check the post and it explains the proper location and method so you don't have problems.

I don't really care one way or another, haven't researched it at all. I can tell you that Keith wrote a decenty review for their product.....and to be honest I trust the technical advice of the members here more than PN.

neither do i....if you go over there theres about 15-25 people who said its garbage...im in the market for one myself, and the hummingbird price is cheaper, but then again you get what you pay for!
