The trailer, I believe is original, but somehow before I bought it, it wound up with a homemade title. It has new wheels and tires, new hubs and bearings, new lights, new tounge jack. 1800.00 would take the whole package plus all other parts.

Looks like a variety of people have inquired about the parts for sale. I read through your list and am curious about your throttle control. My 69 Mustang has a gas pedal and separate shifter up on the dash. I'm looking for the original Morse hand controlled throttle to replace my gas pedal. Was this a part you had for sale? I might also be interested in your motor cover hinges as these are a little hard to come by. Let me know what's still left if there is anything.

I'm still looking for the shift lever, when I find it, I'd take $10.00 p/s.
Gas pedal-$20.00
Back to the engine, It's a '75 OMC 302 Ford with very low hours. I'm guessing around 275 hrs. - 280 hrs. It's been sitting on my patio, covered up since 1991. It's been hooked up to gas, water & battery and run every summer. It's a 2 barrel 175 hp. I have the 4 bbl. intake and carb, but the 4 bbl. carb needs some parts. Engine's ready to drop in and go!

Paul,
I've seen the pics. A couple of weeks ago I was getting curious to see if you had it painted and posted pics yet. So I went searching for your Classic, and there they were in all it's Red and White glory! Looks great!

I do still have the swim platform. Remember the splices in two of the long sections? You could probably fix that.

I need help with posting pics. Is Photobucket the way to go?

Thanks AT

I'm still learning how to work the photo bucket thing a little bit at a time..... Save that plattform for me!! and if the trailer is still there i might want it also?

Can you send me some photos of the trailer?(if you still have it) I forgot what kind of shape it's in? Is it the original trailer for that boat?If you dont want to mess with photo bucket just take a picture with a digital camera if you have one?

ScottZ,
I do not have the ski rope deflector, it did a long time ago. I cannot find it or the shift lever for the dash.

However, I did find the original stern light and a pair of extra windsheild corners.

Have not had any nibbles on the pylon or windsheild. So, I'm changing that to 150.oo shipped. (continental US)

                        Thanks AT
PS: windsheild just sold, the spare corners will go with it.

My brother might be intested in the windshield if you still have it. What kind of shape is it in? How wide is it? He needs a one piece windshield for a 59 Aqua Skier and this might work.

Hi captinR, In the future, I predict you will sell your boat to WakeSlayer.

Scott,   Windshield is 60 5/16" wide 14 3/4" tall. Good condition, has all the mounting hardware. It would need a new rubber piece for the bottom. That piece is still available from Taylor Made Products.

Alan,
Did you ever sell the swim platform? What do you need for the morse control? I ran the '68 over the weekend and spent about 5 hours de-Mcgyverizing it.Supposed the 289 Intercepter. Distributor has been changed to an early electronic automotive style with a "brain box" Vacumn advance was disconected. Has a two barrel holley that I don't think is original because it has the hot air choke thermostat that was also wide open and creating a HUGE vacumn leak at full throttle.
Any thoughts on how to correct choke problem? What is the correct sequence to adjust the Morse controls? Mine won't shift into forward without the throttle coming on first. Look forward to hearing from you.

Morning Doctor,
I guess my question to you or any of the forum members is what type of choke setup was used back then? I looked over the manifolds and cannot find   a heat source for the choke coil. I plugged the inlet to seal the vacumn leak and the boat ran perfect all the way up to 4300 RPM. She is just a bit tough to start cold with no choke.
Thanks for the info on the controls. I can let you know if I need yours if I cannot get mine to function properly. I am interested in the platform if you have it.
P.S. The boat steers great but I didn't get your wheel installed as my bride is still debating how it looks ;-(

Thanks Alan for the note. I will look closer at the exhaust manifold this weekend when we go back to the lake. Let me know ASAP on the platform. Do you have the mounting brackets? Which boat is Tim D's?

thanks again
Rodney
