For all the 'Newbies' out there looking for these things.

Marty,

Yes, they are part of the deal and those are the adjustment arms. Those are pretty easy to find and they are the device that adjust how much you open the window to let in air. The locking handle or knob is the part that is a problem to locate. You turn it 90 degrees to lock the window in place when the window is closed. It looks like a open square.

I have all of mine at this time. I got lucky and found some on E-Bay. They are made by Taylor Made.
