Where are all the Green Lake signups?

Now don't go complaining about the price of gas. No one could possibly be towing farther than I will.

I count 377 boats in the diaries section of this site from IA, IL, MN, WI, IN, OH, MI, and MO. Yet only 27 boats are signed up for the Green Lake Reunion to date. Of the 27,a third are coming from NC, LA, NY, CT, CA etc.

Where's all the Midwest participation? These are really super get togethers, and those of you in the Midwest are only a day's drive or less from the reunion.

Even if you don't bring the boat, come on out to GL. There will be plenty of room in other boats.

If I'm going to drag my boat 4500 miles, I'd sure like to meet more of you.

Even if it's just for the day on Saturday and have to actually trailer your boat somewhere rather than to the ramp to put on the ShoreStation. It's worth it!

I just re-read my post and it sounds a little harsh. My point is that we have a couple hundred members, minimum, who live within a few hours of GreenLake. This is a really great gathering, and the more attendees, the better it gets. It would be great to see as many folks as possible. Show up for a day, show up with or without a boat, just show up. You won't be disappointed. BKH

Scott and Pat,
That's great news !!!! Bring everyone....

We are 3 boats shy of tying the number that can last year as it stand right now..

I know Keith mentioned to me a few more should register that he's talked to and with Brian's Mopar Madness, we'll surpress the old number from 07'

Looking forward to seeing you all there. It's going to be a real killer time...

I'd say if you're unsure of the number, just register the "for sures" and hand Keith the extra money for the others (if it's only one or two) when you get there. How does that sound? That way we get registrations a bit earlier for our sponsors, etc.

79 is not going this year so there should be plenty of food. If you're a "walk in" go last in line for food, I'd rather not eat and have more people there. Carolyn however would probably want me to dilute the CL a bit.

Exactly. We had 2 walk-ins in 2006 and they went last in line for food. Same with T-shirts and swag- I don't think they took either.

I'm driving the 6 hours by myself, leaving my "just under a month from our first child's due date" wife at home by herself. That's meeting more and more reservations as the time draws nearer. She's gone the last 2 years and loved every second of it. She's bummed she won't be able to make it this year.

Point being....no excuses. Make the trip and you won't be sorry.

See you all there!

Well a congrats is in order... With Tim just registering the Skier, we matched the boat count from GL07'. There are a few others still yet to pony up, which will top the count from last year, which is great to see..

Many now making it a "three-peat" along with a bunch of new guests, factory representation, and our generous sponsors, GL-08' stands to be the best reunion to date...

We've got till the end of this week to register, and let the countdown begin....

Nope, the '90 went to GL last year- time to switch things up. Dont worry Joel, September is a beautiful month here in the northeast.

Come on guys, I'm just giving Tim a hard time. I love CCs regardless of age. Besides, the 1990 is practically an antique already- my own boat is on it's 9th summer as well.

It's natural for me to favor my own first boat (the 90) over a completely unknown boat (the skier). Tim brought the boat last year and I was unable to make it as my wife was very close to her due date last year. Now when I can make it up there, he brings the 72. I think I have a case for some ribbing on this one.

I think Tim just wanted to bring a FAST boat this year, and his Skier will have some good company with Rodney's and Pat's being there also.

And to add to our overall reunion numbers and push us past last year's total, I just register a second time as Keith suggested, for our Classic which our friends Ruch and Marsha will be towing up again. (That boat still isn't in the Diaries yet so we don't have a picture).

Joel, check the diaries and see how many 71-73 Skiers there are vs. how many 90-93 Ski Nautiques. I love the '90, but the green boat is the cats ass.

Check for flights to ALB on Wed/Thurs before the NE reunion. Im planning to spend a day in the course before heading to Lake George- and thats your best shot at seeing the '90 this summer.

Inca gold- pretty funny name. They must mean "Inca gold before it was stolen by the Spaniards". Or "Pre-small pox Inca gold". Maybe since it's called Inca Gold, they're really saying it's not actually gold- sort of a tounge-in-cheek color name.
