For a near mint 86 SN 2001? < 300 hours, blue and beige, beige interior, 1 owner, garaged at all times.

I just added a new member to the family.

85-95 hundred. Did you get a good deal? I assume the new member to your family is an 86.

Mine is an 86 grey and white 25th anniversary, with 560 hrs and a lot of new parts. If I was to sell it, which I'm not planning on ever doing, I wouldn't let here go for anything less than $9.

Here it is. Has anyone see this interior before? I thought the typical is blue and white. The PO, said he bought it from the dealer with this interior.

congratulations looks good. Never have seen the beige interior before. I have a gray 25th anniversary 86. Have the two tone blue with gray interior. I am sure the experts will chime in soon.

Will, that boat looks beautiful! I don't know what it's worth but it's got to be at the upper end of price range for an 86.

That thing looks super sweet, and really clean, looks like it even came with a four blade prop on it. Nice work

So how much did you pay?

Thanks for the compliments.

I found it on boat trader, located in Springfield Missouri. I took friday off work and left at 3am. It took about 10 hours to get there and 14 hours to get back.

They were asking 9k, I ended up paying $8250, plus gas for the 1200 mile trip.

It did come with the 4 blade prop. Its a acme #208, 13"x12.5"x.080cup. I have a acme 540 that I plan on running. I might do a comparison between the two.

I got up early today to clean the swim platform and the teak steps. Next is rubbing down the vinyl with a protectant.

Not a bad price. I would pay that pretty easily and replace my '86, its pushing 1500+ hours right now.

That is a FINE looking boat. It has obviously been taken care of well.

Considering what a new one costs I think you got a great deal.

I've got to ask though, what kind of car is that in the garage behind it?

The red car looks like a Cayman. Can't tell what's in the garage though.

You are correct. Its my fiances Caymen.

The car in the garage is a 64 VW notchback. Its my winter project. I've just finished tubbing 1 wheel for the porsche twist wheels with 10" tires. 1 more to go. Theres no drive train yet, I'm trying to get the chassis sorted out first.

Your fiance has a 987? What a lucky guy you are!!!!!!

I had to sell my 944 Turbos for my Ski Nautique. Not that I am complaining at all...

Nice Boxster twists on the VW! Looking good.
