Just looked back and was surprised to see there was no Nautique Swervin' Weekend thread this past spring.

Anyway, Raleigh session was today. Another great time. Conditions were perfect, my first opportunity to ski behind the new Ski Nautique, WOW, what a pull!. Ryan Dodd was the pro/coach. Who knew the world record jumper could offer a few swervin tips too?

The people in slots both before mine and after mine didnt show, so I had over an hour to myself (of course since I'm old and tire pretty quickly, there was a pretty good break after first 5 passes.)

Larry,
Nice to say the very least. I always enjoy seeing a pro behind the boat. Keep those videos coming.

Pro. HA!! Good one Pete. Tho I do appreciate the sentiment.

Anybody besides me think that Ryan Dodd might be Kapla's long lost twin brother?

Nice Job Larry Boy. I signed up for the Swervin Weekend again since the first one got rescheduled to August because of weather. Whitney McClintock Rini is the scheduled pro and looking forward to getting some professional instruction. A host of Ski buds are before me and Mrs. NautiqueHunter is after me so I don't think I'll get a hour behind the new Nauti. I am heading to the Regatta this weekend so hopefully I'll get some time behind a new one there. I know a few peeps so I think my chances are good.

Thanks Tim. Skiing at Nautique Regatta? OK, but those G25s have a pretty big wake and they only go 28.

Note the above video was titled best pass. Needless to say, there were some not so good ones, like the very first one, where I barely made ball 1. Way to impress the pro right out of the box. My onside turns arent awful. My offside turns are consistently terrible, even on a decent pass. Gotta work on that.
