I had the opportunity to drive and ride in this 1952 Chris Craft today! What a beauty. Hope this is acceptable material for the site!

The stick shift and throttle on the steering wheel took a few minutes to get accustomed to but after that it was great cruising. Very smooth boat with a great sound. Bucket list--checked!

Very Cool Boat!! Alan's Hurricane has a similar steering wheel throttle, old school cool but awkward to drive.

Nice Bil !
A '52 sedan.   So, I'm assuming the bucket list was only to drive one and not to mess w/ mahogany boards for the next 5 to 10 years.

The Hemi powered Higgins I drove a long time ago was very similar.
Keep it....from sinkin'

I won't rule out the possibility of messin' with mahogany boards! Can't beat the way an old wood rides. I almost hear a song in those words...........

Awkward? Maybe it had something to do with who was at the helm!!
