Hi I just put my boat in the water and throttle works fine but shifter won't work for tranny I've pulled up the lever. Sprayer wd40 nothing. Any suggestions

You need to try to locate what's stuck. Helm control? Shift cable? Trans? Start by disconnecting the cable at ether end.to diagnose where the problem is. WD40?? I won't even let my wife use that junk on her cabinet hinges!!! |

Don't be knocking the fine products carried by HD in addition to wd40 ,they as you know, sell the complete line of pb blaster products and I might add I saw the poster just today proclaiming Now Available Auto Supplies
As to the shifting problem I would check the cable connector ends first and if they are ok then the cable itself after I checked that I pushed in the neutral knob first link |

It was a bad shifter. I just installed new on from Nautiqueparts. New one works great
