these are most likely parts that would be best obtained new,   Since you are looking at a new shaft, the ARE double taper is well respected around here and not a big cost upgrade.   the trouble with used shafts is that it's hard to tell if they are straight...   you might find one, but you're looking for a part that is often damaged by an on water (or trailer) incident

I'd also suggest the ARE shaft system. They are about the same price and the big advantage is the R&R. Having a taper on both ends saves the hassle of fitting the heat shrunk interference fit coupling on the trans end.

Regarding the "shaft support", I assume you are referring to the strut. If you still have the strut, have you thought about straightening it? Many have been straightened successfully. Some have done it themselves with a hydraulic press and others have had prop shops straighten them.

Also, it would be very helpful if you listed what boat these are going on!!!

Thanks I will look into that I already ordered the strut and shaft from planet Nautique but the shaft is on back order   Where is the best place to buy the double tapered shaft
