We are trying to squeeze in a last minute get away. Looking at first week of august starting the 4th or 5th. Really looking for waterfront with pool, access to water suitable for that thing we do and a town with good activity wouldn't suck either..
While begging AND choosing, permission to bring the best damn dog on the planet would be awesome.
Salt or fresh doesn't matter, my boat was reborn Trans.

Tried Longboat Key area but am not having much luck.

Would like to keep to the lower FL. area but am open to any ideas at this point. Just don't really trust my trailer for a 14 hour pull at 75 or I'd go to Tennessee.

Thanks,

I was gonna stay here this weekend but my wife has lost any and all interest to be on the water so I cancelled and spent the coin on the boat.

We used to stay in Crystal River area a lot, not the friendliest towed watersport area but fabulous area to chillax. If you can't find a waterfront VRBO at the last minute there, well you didn't look hard enough.

Nice place on the Dora chain, waterfront with pool, great town to walk in, no need for car. Slalom course within sight. If you made it here we could meet up and ski.

Like Orlando said,Chrystal river,Homasassa river is awesome to cruise around and chill not ski friendly and definitely not really a fast ride place stay in the chammel or youll def have more problems than prop damage. Its really a nice area and great place to chill and ride on the water. think its still scallop season as well.

The Dora chain is also a nice area with good riding,

So this is where we wound up. Got a great deal and the location is downright epic if you like salty water.
