So I ran the BFN a few times and was adding oil almost as fast as it was coming out. Leaking everywhere, and from the looks had been so for a while. What a MESS 4 hours worth of work and the results were much better! I couldn't believe how dirty this was! Trailer off to the sandblaster to correct the problem areas. Fresh coat of paint over the entire trailer and it is looking great! Super pleased with the results! 454 being put back together! looks like new |

That's looking awesome. Nice job! Is that paint or powder coat on the trailer? Thinking about stripping mine down this year.

Good old Rust-o-leum. I had a trailer that was pretty rough a while back and used oil based rust-ol-eum and rolled it on. Dried like a rock and was awesome. This trailer was pretty sweet at its core. I had blasted on the rusted spots from the carpeting and used spray cans this time. It turned out amazing when you condsider it was $30 in paint. When I sanded the non rusted areas of the trailer I was amazed at how thin the paint came from the factory. This paint job is 10x better than when it was new. Thanks for asking.

Scott, I've mentioned it before that I'm not real big on powder. The prep is extremely critical for adhesion. Do you have a powder coater with a big enough oven to get the trailer in? |

That's an understatement, I didn't know CC put paint on their trailers. |

I used like 1200 grit wet sandpaper on the nicer areas, and after about 3-4 stokes was through the color to the primer. Crazy! Not the first CC trailer I have seen like that.
