I looked at this BFN 87 454 for sale and looks like a great deal, but I am NOT interested at this time, any here? I think you could get it for a good price, $7k-?
In good shape, runs well, 1000 hrs, clean, trailer, PM me if interested.

What's it need? Looks very clean in the pics. I'm not in the market, but if I were, I'd be all over this one. Nice looking boat at a decent price.

Floor has "soft" spots. Stringers look and "sound" good, but I am no authority. (I hit them with the brass drain plug looking for soft spots and mounts looked clean and solid) The speedos are different, but both Correct craft. Pitots aftermarket and not connected. (hose too short) Motor and bilge are clean, SS gas tank, clean outside. Motor cover has a split in cover at stripe, likely repairable. Gunnel teak needs rejuvenation but there and solid. Seats in decent shape, clean and no big tears or rips. New seat bases. Hull looks good, looks like it would shine up better with a buff, Red and grey. White would be nicer. Swim platform in good shape and solid. Voltmeter was reading low but gradually rose, maybe loose/rusty connections? Brand new battery. New hoses and belts. Holley redone. Strong oil pressure, and water temp steady at 150. Motor was quiet and smooth, dual exhaust AWESOME sounding. No Threatening!! Trailer in good shape. HAs brake system doubt they work, and owner did not know, kept in a cradle on lake. He bought a newer SN. I think it would go for less than 7. Twins are heading to College. Kelly to UF, and Lauren to the highest bidder for dive scholarship, either way, bad time to park funds in a BFN. I am actually surprised its not been sold?

Risers were clean and rust free. No signs of oil or water leaks. Original(?) cassette radio in glove box (off hinge) needs replaced.

That really looks nice. The "little stuff" adds up too, you get a barefoot boom and fly high with racks, and new cover, could easily spend $700 to $1,000 sourcing those items if they were not included.

Jerry,
I'm surprised you say it could use a buff, looks pretty shiny to me in the pics. Maybe old pics? Where were the soft spots? I guess it doesn't matter, slalom wake probably isn't what I want for me but would make a more comfortable ride for crossing Lake George.

Yes on Lake George, definitely not a slalom boat! Unless you're talking about hot dog skiing that was popular in the 90's, lol. There are some good threads that detail the bfn's capabilities if you dig. The list of things they do well is quite short but they do those few things very well!
