Just out of curiosity , would a 87 or 88 2001 windshield fit onto an 89 model ? From looking at both , I would guess not but sometimes pictures are deceiving .

Define "fit". The 1 vs 2 pane is a different shape and would require drilling different holes. The deck is the same 87-89.

1989 was ONE year only windshield for correct craft. Taylor Made was used in 1989 vs water bonnet , who had made correct craft windshields all previous years. For some reason CC wasn't happy with Taylor Made and dropped them in 1990. I only know this because I had a 1989 windshield and was finding out the story behind it. Spoke with a CC guy who worked with CC for 30 years.. Hope that helps. If you are interested-I know of someone who has a windshield for a 1989 if you send me a private message.

Thanks for the offer velde99 but I don't need one . I am looking at an 89 but was just wondering if the 87 or 88 would fit without having to drill new holes .
