Gauges & keypad problems

I replaced the digital gauges on my 2001 Sport nautique with analogue versions, and have had problems with the keypad since. I cannot get the primary code sequence to unlock the starter, and have tried the reset instructions without success. There is power to the keypad, and keys 2, 3, and 4 light up the indicator light but key 1 does not. I am wondering if the contact behind key 1 is the issue? I don't know who to contact to get the master code for the keypad and attempt to reset the unit...
Any ideas would be appreciated!
