Our little '55 Atom Skier won Best Preserved-Most Original at the Pewaukee, WI ACBS Boat Show last weekend. How cool is that?

John,
Congratulations! However, I am surprised since that award is supposed to go to a untouched and unrestored boat per the ACBS rules. I judge the category for the Blackhawk chapter.

Not official ACBS judging at this show. Informal boat owners voting. But still an honor to be recognized.

What's the typical selling point for these little boats? obviously depending on condition....price varies a *************** ton....

But i've seen some nice ones selling for $3500 and some for as much at $12K....

Just like anything...it's worth what someone is willing to pay. I was not willing to pay $3500 for the above boat. Motivated seller and end of the boating season resulted in a $2500 deal. Or should I say, steal? The 4 cyl. flathead Gray runs great after a carb rebuild. I still have not opened her up....27mph on gps at about 3/4 throttle. Fun little boat.

Those are some great shots. Love your boat. Just by chance do you have a source for the globe on the stern light?

Sorry, no source for the stern light globe. But she's glass and rides in the truck while towing!
I love telling the Nautique owners at the docks that this is their boat's grandfather! Ha!
