I think you are mistaken about the state in which the Watertown in question is located.

I think it is New York and I think it was 63skier that called and inquired this fall. It was posted on this thread with pictures, I think. It's been listed for about five months or so.

Go to this page and look about half way down, I posted the pictures and conversation with the owner. Then the discussion continues off and on for a few more posts.

Yea that's the one I was thinking of. Without a trailer, floor probably in bad shape, and the other engine maybe needing work, I can't fathom how to get this thing to wisconsin and running for under 2 million dollars.

That would never see a garage. It would be a Lake Michigan boat. I'd keep in on a moring for the summer and hard stand in the winter.

Guess I was, showed up in a Boston search and said Watertown area, which is just outside Boston. I assumed, and we know what happens then.

Don't feel bad, it's a Watertown NY listing that shows up in VT Craigslist. If I didn't know the location already I would have been wondering myself.

https://fayetteville.craigslist.org/boa/4860102306.html

I was in communication with this guy in Dec then all of a sudden he pulled the listings. Today He says someone in Raleigh is interested. Anyone here? I don't want to cut in line nor create a bidding war. I've been reluctant to post it here. What's y'all thoughts and pricing? I think it's top top $, def not a steal. Somebody before offered to sniff it out, I forget who, is that still an offer? I have more pics but not by a comp. the engine looks cleaner than tonight's dinner plate.

Meg, if you can afford it and that's what you want so what if you over pay a little. Better than constant headaches and repairs down the road...

If you are ok with the price and still interested, I can go take a look for you, but only if he agrees to put it in the water. Obviously looks good so now it comes down to function/performance. I can't go until the weekend though. Let me know.

If you end up with it, without coming up, I can hold it, say till White Lake. (tho it would be outside) Then you can come get it or maybe JBear will pull it back down for you. He is thinking about coming up, I think.

Why upgraded heads on an 800 hour engine on a boat that looks that clean? Just for a bit more power, but no other engine mods? I'd ask that question.

Hey Todd.
Here is another within driving distance. Less hours, newer, and has also been kept in nice garage:

I am guessing the 93 may be a carbureted 351W with GT40 heads?
