Just dropped the price to $10,000.00 and it's less than 30 miles from the CT Mini Reunion.

Possibly the second worst tower ever (behind the 2x6 I/O, of course).

I don't know, at least it looks strong enough to hoist the engine with if needed.

That '98 really does look like an awesome deal for somebody. Hard to believe the hours, but who knows. Interior might be hard to live with is the only obvious problem.

It's been for sale for a little bit. I noticed it at $11,000.00. Yeah that interior is RED!!! But nothing a couple of towels would cure. on the fence about calling. I have access to an 07 H3 hummer, but I think this is a little too much of a boat to tow with it for 200 miles. But then again my buddy is trading it in in the fall so what's a little abuse?

Towing with an H3 V8 or V6 automatic should be no problem.

Unfortunately it is a 5 cylinder. He was pissed when he saw them come out with the V8.

The H3 won't win any races but it'll do the job. Bristol is *almost* on the way!

I didn't know there was an I5 offered in a Hummer, learn something every day. Just looked, says tow rating is 4,500 lbs. That boat/trailer should weigh in at about 4,000. 200 mile trip would be a snap!

I can scoop those suits for anyone that wants them. I'm very close to Wethersfield and will probably be down in Southbury/Sandy Hook (Lake Zoar) at some point next weekend.

Huh, EBay ad says it has 480 hours. Still low. Must have gotten a "deal" on the New interior material. Still an awesome price.

Ah hence my reservations. Nothing like conflicting info to make you wonder. Working on my buddy about using the H3. I do have my trailer plate in hand. No local branches of my bank near by the boat. Why did the person use that red vyinal???? Oh and I got the raised eye brow with the "I thought your next boat was going to be a V-drive".. And then got that glossy look when I explained what possible good deal blah, blah, blah.

Has to be. A lot of jet boat people have done that, created open bow boats, but haven't seen it much on ski boats.
