It's a one of a kind, it has it's very own boat dock screwed to the transom. Or it could be a chunk of his front porch. Whatever it is, I'm thinking I could build something with all those 2 x 6's

The amount of people that don't understand basic grammar, spelling, or sentence structure really saddens me.

I think he meant to say it is a "junk collector's dream".

The spelling, grammar, and general intelligence on Craigslist is atrocious.

I don't like the spelling and grammar challenges, but figure maybe not everyone has a person to check it for them. What gets me is not typing the 3 extra sentences to really describe what you are selling, and not including pictures. I see so many ads that say "electric compressor, runs good" with no pictures, and they wonder why they don't sell the item.

Yeah David... or how pictures are so horribly out of focus or have a finger in the way. It is 2014, you can't get ONE good photo?

"This boat is a MUST SEE"... doesn't include pictures.

My favorite ads are the ones with multiple pictures of the boat. All of them with the cover on.

Here's a 1956 Utility in Missouri with pictures that were taken with a potato.

Another great Craigslist line is "no scammers"... like a scammer is going to say, "awww, I guess I can't contact this guy".

That's an Atom and looks like it could be a good candidate for a restoration. What I can see through all the fuzz looks pretty complete.

"kept indoors since 1973". But from '56 until '73 it was left outside in a field apparently.

Thanks Steve,

I'd buy it today if I could figure out how to get it home. Just have no way to transport it. We're not far from Albemarle, probably 1 1/2 hrs or so. Thanks for the info!!

Launch your boat and use your trailer..... that's what I did....... then block it up to get your trailer back. If you aren't willing to do that - you don't want it! Ha....

Greg,

Go for it! I have enough projects going on right now. I'd love a bar in my basement with it, but just don't have the time right now. Just promise to show us a pic!

If someone is actually serious about selling a boat, I've often wondered why they wouldn't take five minutes to clean out the leaves before taking the photos.....

96 signature - $8500

Looks pretty decent for the price, but the ad is lacking interior photos.

"Beautiful"

Woof.

And that Sanger trailer (the best part of the package IMO) looks like it is for a v-drive.
