I’m sorry but the Boatmates look ok under a SN. But close inspection and talking an awful lot with them, I feel their trailer is junk. I thought I wanted a Boatmate. And don’t expect to get something special from them even if you’re willing to pay for it, like upgrading from a 3500lb axle....

Yes, that was for a dual axle.

Seeing how any trailer for a Super Sport or Super Air from 1995 through 2006 would fit your boat perfectly, I'd keep scouring CL, the forums, etc. for a used trailer. They might be kind of rare, but not unheard of, and you might have to make a bit of a drive, but one has to come up. If you were close to me I'd let you use mine in the meantime, it just sits in the woods from May - October. But I think we're about 1,800 miles apart.

I asked Magnum about a single axle. The response is the cost would be the same.
So, 6500 for a single axle, 5200lb. Man, I'm in the wrong business.

Thanks, that gives me a year range to look for.

Trailer from an Air Nautique. Would this work for my 2002 SANTE?

Super long drive, but this is the single axle I was talking about in an earlier post. Also a tandem axle in Seattle, but it's been modified for a sail boat.

Thanks, I will check into it! Yeah, I saw the tandem that was modified for a sailboat. What a way to ruin a nice trailer...

The problem with an Air trailer is the axle placement will be farther forward. You could have too light of a tongue, which isn't really safe for towing, not to mention, it could tip up if you stepped on the swim deck or something, potentially. Going the other direction, you'd just have a very heavy tongue, which is still not great, but a better problem to have, in my opinion.

I know it's a Master Crap but.looks like a decent trailer and I bet he will come off the price quite a bit.

Thank you all for responding. I was able to fine a trailer locally. Not exactly what I was looking for but I think it'll work just fine.

Drop dead gorgeous boat. That's literally one of the best years ever for that hull. 2002 and 2003.

I went from a 2001 to this too - you will be soooooo happy. Same path.

I still cringe seeing your 2001 like that. Mentioned it before but I'm sorry for your loss. Happy for your upgrade. You'll freaking love that thing.

Outstanding boat and colour combo. Not that I'm biased...

Enjoy!

Nice boat. Just helped a friend haul his 2005 Super Sport back from FL. We also picked up the same tower you have on yours. We need to get drilling to put that thing on soon before the season is over.

Hey man, sorry to hear about your recent mishap! I pulled this log out yesterday in hopes it would help prevent someone else having a bad day on the lake...

Congrats on the new ride!

What lake did the log come from? That ramp looks a bit like Lake Conroe, north of Houston.

The Perfect Pass paddlewheel was needing some attention. Only one paddle out of four remaining. Easy replacement and PP is up and running. Not as precise as Hydrophase but still good.

The radio wiring needed attention. I believe this is the first time the stereo has been wired correctly since new.

... and yes, I was looking all over for the cup holder. Unbolted the seat and there it was.

I see the 1989 in the background . Are you planning on repairing it ?
Feels like I am hanging 10 but in reality - probably hanging 6.

Sorry to hear about your accident, I know how much it sucks for something like that to happen. I'm right now rebuilding a 1989 ski Nautique its my first boat. And as respectfully possible I ask if the insurance does total it, if there is any way i could purchase the seats from you. Since my boat did not come with an interior. Best of luck to, and on your situation.
Best regards, Andres

Thank you. There has been lots of interest. Hopefully this will play our soon. This is the longest time period an insurance claim has taken for me. My first claim as a result of a boat loss, maybe it takes longer to process.

Thank you for the reply, and again good luck to you again, insurance companies are never fun to deal with. Whatever happens and how it plays out with the interior please let me know i would hate to have to do a whole custom interior Since I've never done one and i don't know if i would be capable. I'll send you a private message just so you have it and i wont be hard to find me when it comes down to it.
Best, regards Andres

I'm still waiting on insurance to settle. Impossible to get in touch with anyone regarding my claim, on the phone.   Several day lag via email. It's hurry up and wait over here. I will update once a settlement has been made.
