Hello everyone. I have a 1970 Correct Craft Mustang with a 302 Holman Moody in relatively perfect condition that was my father-in-laws. He bought it brand new and he passed away 3 years ago and I have it in my garage. I did a complete tun up on the motor before he passed and repainted to stock colors. It has the original 1970 trailer with it as well. I'm trying to figure out how to price this kind of boat, as my mother-in-law wants to sell it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated on what to look for on the boat to get a good estimate of value. Thank you.

I will let others provide input on prices but in the mean time upload some pics of the boat and trailer, engine, interior if you have some and provide some more specifics as to hours, etc...as your "relatively perfect" condition has me intrigued to the point I could be a potential buyer.

Improper pylon, deduct $500
Might be worth $1200 or so but I tell ya what, if it means helping mother In-law out, I’d be happy to give you $3500.
I’m just kidding, and being a smart ass.

Where was that picture taken? The water and trees say FL, boat and background says NC.

I thought it looked like White Lake, NC. I have a house there. Beautiful boat! White Lake Marine sold a bunch of those as they are the oldest CC dealer in the world and continue to be a great resource and place to do business with

I've noticed they haven't made the "oldest" statement on their website for several years. I wonder what happened?

There were varying lengths but don’t recall seeing the taller ones until 72ish. They’d be at windshield height- this one looks normal height to me.

Maybe it’s an optical illusion because if you compare the OP picture to my avatar it looks to be taller than mine in reference to the wheel or seats. Maybe something to do with the different motorbox’s or picture angle

Looks ~8” taller than the box to me. The tall version used slightly later was noticeably taller than the windshield.

Don’t forget that the 1-piece windshield is an inch or 2 shorter than the 2-piece glass.

I’m guessing it’s already sold. I’ll bet whatever regular member is quiet on the site today is driving to NC to pick it up.
