Christine's did the skins 2 years ago and Wards Boat Shop in NH installed them. We had no interior to start with, so had to source everything. Christine's was excellent and pricing was less than having the local shop do the whole interior.

Looking good fellas..... Nice composite work there. Much better than I've seen here in the composite shop here at work. looking forward to seeing more progress and the finished project.

Great work and I love that original interior. Carl help my daughter Natalie barefoot on a boom when she was about 13 on that boat on Mnt. Island Lake in Charlotte. Steve Watkins daughter was also with us. Greg Fossett was there too with his purple sport nautique.
I love the 1980 - 1981 graphics .

Yes, I picked up on the fact that two years ago the Harts purchased new skins. I was referencing the original design and the diamond shapes. I know another guy with a Red 1980 that did the same, but we have yet to see that boat finished. He knows who he is.

We completed a decent amount of work since the last update. The custom made gas tank from Triple M Plastics arrived and fits nicely. Its snug for sure (as designed), but there is enough margin where it installed easily enough and can be removed without too much hassle. Its a quality tank, and will be great having the extra fuel capacity.

The carpet and trim is also complete, and we dropped the engine in.

The 4" exhaust through hulls were installed. We will be using GPS speedos, so no need to for the tubes and pitots anymore. While the boat was still largely disassembled, we decided to have a couple dozen holes in the deck and transom filled with color matched gel. Vinny at The Fiberglass Shop in Windham, Maine took care of the color matching and hole repair.

In the picture below, you can see a 8 or so holes in the transom that were repaired

After gel repair

The most annoying holes were the antenna, whatever that barbed thing is, and of course the radio hole in the dash . They are were all repaired with gel and look amazing!

Next steps will be exhaust installation, cooling, and wiring. We are still hopeful this will be in the water before the end of 2019.
