My engine runs cold and was going to change the thermostat. I was surprised to find that the Thermostat cover has two domes . On the pump side there is a disc that pivits like a choke on a carb. Under the second dome there was a disc with a hole in it. Is anyone familiar with this setup.?

Mike,
What do you consider cold? I've never been into a Sabre cooling so it will be interesting to hear if someone has and can explain how it works.
