I just purchased a 1980 Southwind 20 Bowrider with a 454 engine.
Just wanted to share as I am getting to work on her. Lots to do.
This is my first Correct Craft and I'm super stoked!

What is the horsepower on that 454? Curious here. I got a 454 put into my '69 CC Wildcat this year and do not know the hp. I know it all depends on certain factors with each engine. I'm thinking mine was a Mercruiser 454. Is there a way to tell? Serial numbers on the engine somewhere?

My engine had a serial number tag on it. I was able to determine in is a Pleasure Craft Marine 454 with Right rotation.. I looked up the old service manual and was able to see that stock it had 330 HP.
