Here's a trailer issue I had not seen previously

So I haven't used my trailer in two years. Bunk carpet shot, tires low, grease oozing out of bearing buddies down the wheels and all over the tires. No problem. I really need to take
the boat out of the water and do some overdue maintenance items.

So I quickly fix the carpet a couple weekend ago. Throw in some grease, and pumped up the tires this morning.

Back up the truck, drop the tongue onto the receiver, ready to go. NOPE. The damn lock/latch on the tongue is stuck.

Why you ask - wasp nest inside the trailer tongue.

That was fun. Especially in the 106 degree heat.
