    Posted: July-07-2015 at 11:44am
A very small number folks know I have had a secret project under wraps from the start of the year. The goal was to get it running for Green Lake. It has a been a ton of work, and it is still not ready, but god willing, I will get it running by Friday. It is somewhat unusual and it won't be pretty but I hope to at least get it running. I'll drop some hints over the next few days...

Is it a Tube for Pete to do a demo? I did hear he could not make it , but him coming and tubing could be the big surprise or shock.

I thought there'd be more flannel involved. I may be confusing it with Maine.

You really don't see that "World" logo/branding until what, late 70's right? As such I'm going to say it's something 1977+

White pleated upholstery with red piping, I like it already. Mojo said torino or separator. I don't know why, but I thought the same thing. The 80 mph speedo would also lend credence to that theory. If so, I am going to be extremely jealous. I have been kicking myself for passing a running (I didn't know at the time that it was running) $750 separator over to Jeff a few years ago. Arrgh! Speaking of Jeff.....why isn't he on the Green Lake thread talking about unveiling his I/O Separator at the event????

Edit: After seeing Joel's post. If he is correct, that shoots my theory, believe last Separator was 75. Nuts!

Black dash shoots the 73' promo or the separator idea. Its a late 78-79 BFN or big block SN !!!!!

And I tried to reach out to Jeff a few times about GL and got squat in return... MIA again

Justin I need help . Your eyes are better than mine go look at the 84 brochure at the red bass nautique. That wheel in the picture sure looks to me like Steves in his picture. Those seats look pleated too. But I think the real deal clincher is the speedo. No way is a stock Seperator or Torino is going to go more than 65 IMOH but a 80's bass boat might need that speedo. Now that's just my opinion your results may vary. But why else would a Wisconsinite have taken a trip to good ol Dixie, certainly not to go and buy a tube he already has one!

The globe certainly sets the era. The single stock Teleflex 80 mph says not a tourney ski boat. I hadn't seen any pleated and piped seats in the 80's Ski Nautiques but the brochure shows it in the Bass Nautique. Bass Nautique looks to have the faux wood at the wheel.   The red piping throws me off though with the brown astro turf.

Oh my..... we've cracked the case. It's a Bass Nautique... I love Bass Nautiques so much. Such a cool boat. Steves one lucky fellow if that's what it is.

Ok guys, meant to get one last pic up last night. But we made great strides on the new craft. We got it running and even took a few test hits - lets just say SCARY. Oh and Gary, the trip to Dixie was for a volleyball tournament. Anyway here is the last teaser, I head to Green Lake at Noon - See y'all up there!
