I have got some pretty good water stains on my 75 SN. I am going out right now to try vinegar and water, but I am sure I am going to need some type of polish. Any recommendations??

To polish out scratches try "jewelers rouge"....Water spots coke or pepsi, do to the acidity in them.

CLR - use it on shower glass all the time. Will remove any and all water spots in seconds. Rinse with water when done and dry.

I had a spot issue with the cars a few weeks ago. Between the well water and the Meguires soap with some wax in it I got some spots that the Invisible Glass wouldn't touch. I took a headlight lens polishing pad and some headlight polish and it came right off.

On the boat I go over the windows with my wipe down spray (Vinegar / Water / Babes Boat Bright) and it keeps them spot free and leaves enough wax to keep things from sticking. If the windows get spoty on the lake just a quick wipe with a towel is all it takes to get them off.

Vinegar/water in a spray bottle is what I use followed by glass cleaner and then rain-x. If you use or it gets on the gel, be sure a clean with soap/water and re-apply wax.

Coke or Pepsi KY Tom, when is that ever in your cooler, lol

This stuff works great. It will remove sun spots, water drops etched in the glass. And like Quinner said, when you get it clean put rain-x on it. I hate photobucket now.

+1 on the ph-bucket.

On the CLR.   Do not get it on your '75 windshield frame.
