Come on guys, take it easy on Zach, he's probably sold parts to every one of you on this thread. There's no way all those parts were on the bottom shelf.

What a great topic, although our season is not yet over.
Here what happened at the Toertel's this year: It all started with upgrades (even thou some would dispute the FAE being an upgrade), tach, GPS speedo, FAE, stereo, carpet, vinyl: I had some great times with fellow CCF brothers My favorite pic from the meet Redneck vacation I know ya'll like girls in pics so here ya go. Our son's teacher watching Mom driving and our other "girl" watching And we also spent some time with the boat pulling me (finally learned to slalom late August) Best of all is the time spent with the family |

Had the same thought...and the same problem as Zach with the pic (looks right on my end when posting, but iphone pics sometimes do that) |

Hi Toertel,
Could you let me know your impressions of the FAE? I have read many threads about it, and realize people seem to have impressions one way or the other, but since you have the same generation boat as me, that would be great. I'm mostly interested in: Difference in noise Ease of installation Strength of installation (have heard some negative things about this) Performance - do you still make the same WOT rpm and speed as before Handling - do you notice anything different about the handling with it installed? Thanks very much in advance for your input! Enjoyed seeing the pics. |

The FAE makes it really quiet when idling and at speed (best stereo upgrade..), if that's what you want. No CO fumes at all
Installation was done within 30 mins. Ran the boat over 50 hrs so far with it and no problem with strength of installation Lost some WOT speed but (about 2mph) but we rarely use it at WOT (ski speed for me is 30 ish) No issue with handling |

John, that's why we figured you and Zac stick with boats 93 or older. Anything newer then that and you guys would need a step ladder just to get into it!

That's why I hit the gym. I need the upper body strength to climb into these boats. |

Sweet Vid dude! Using a no stretch on the back deeps?? Looks like it's shooting back towards the boat with some authority.
